Write a messageHi, Im Rachel. I am a freshman in college but record wise I am a junior in college. Throughout high school, I earned various college credits, which helped me focus on my future career when I entered. I am fluent in English and Spanish.
When I was growing up, my mother used to have a Daycare. I learned how to be around younger kids and figure out what they needed from me. When I was in middle school, I used to help kids from kindergarten to 5th grade with their homework, give them company, play with them, talk, learn how to eat properly, and anything they needed. As I got older and headed to high school, I would help my mother with newborns and toddlers. I would feed, burp, change diapers, put them to sleep, change their clothes, teach them words, and how to walk. In addition, in high school, I was selected by the New York Public Library (NYPL) to be apart of an internship called Literacy Leaders. I used to tutor kids in 1st and 2nd grade that needed help reading.
I am an energetic, patient, helpful, caring, loving, and respectful person. When working with kids, I always try my best to keep a positive attitude towards them. I love seeing kids that grow up and still remember you because you made a difference in their life. I love babysitting because kids are precious, pure, curious, energetic, and just full joy. You want them to grow up and reach all their potential even when they still havent said a word or walked yet. I feel like growing up with children in my life has made me a better person and Im very thankful for that.
