Hello there! My name is Nicole,I am 21 years old and I’ve just moved to Brooklyn and am looking for a steady babysitting/house sitting gig! I grew up on Cape Cod in Massachusetts and have been coming to the city my whole life visiting family and friends, my plan has always been to move here permanantly. I have a very creative and outgoing personality! I love meeting new people and exploring new and exciting opportunities. I am very artistic, I am a potter, fiber artist and painter. I have applied to FIT for the winter semester to get my degree in marketing and advertising. Previously I received my associates degree in liberal arts a few years ago from my local community college. For the past four years I’ve worked as a barista and have found it to be another passion of mine. I have an extensive background when it comes to working with children. I worked at the summer camp I grew up at for five years (Brewster Day Camp) and continued on in the winter helping to run their after school program. I’ve always loved babysitting and am often a family’s first choice when it comes to picking a steady sitter! I’ve always maintained great relationships with the families that I sit for and it brings me joy to be able to make their lives a bit easier! Plus I genuinely love hanging out with kids! Most of my experience has been with elementary school children but I did work in the young toddlers program at my previous job for one summer so I am comfortable with either age group. I have also worked with children who have special needs and or disabilities so I am confident in that department if needed. I am an open book so feel free to ask me anything, I am excited to get started!
