Hi,

My name is Mocha Koike. I am a third-year nursing student at NYU with a deep passion for working with children. As the oldest in my family, I’ve had the joy and responsibility of caring for my younger brother since I was just seven years old. Aside from caring for my brother, I would watch over children for other family members and their friends. This early experience fostered my love for nurturing and supporting children, which has grown stronger.
Over the past two years, I’ve expanded my experience through working in childhood education, where I’ve had the opportunity to engage with children from kindergarten to 5th grade and some high school students. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of children’s needs at different developmental stages.
What sets me apart is my experience and my unwavering commitment to a future in pediatric or neonatal nursing. I bring a loving, kind, and caring approach to every child I care for, always striving to create a safe and nurturing environment. My work with children aligns with my goals as a future nurse, and I’m dedicated to providing the best possible care.
