Hello! My name is Mia. I have lived in NYC my whole life. I have always helped out children in my building and around my neighborhood. I am now a college student taking classes in the city, and I would love to babysit and/or be a nanny. When I am with school aged kids, I make sure that they have a great time by providing a balance between calm play inside, homework help and various activities around the city, including playgrounds, local museums and events in the neighborhood! I have worked for the Department of Education throughout high school as a teacher’s assistant for 2nd, 3rd and middle school kids. I have also tutored math for middle school. I remember being very picky about my babysitters when I was a child, and my favorite ones really paid attention to my needs. We would put on plays, work with slime and play-doh and other arts and crafts, which taught me how to really pay attention to each child’s needs and what would make them thrive. I would love to meet and work with your family!
