Hi there, Maya here!! Prior to making a professional change in 2018, I spent the years 2012-2018 as the lead head counselor for an after-school program that served students from elementary to middle school. I had the honor of working with kindergarteners through third graders. I was tasked with providing homework help and daily lesson plans. My primary goal was to ensure that the kids could participate in educational activities while still having fun while doing so. I believe that your kiddos are the funniest individuals on the planet, and I enjoy hearing the world from their point of view. I like to cook, take walks, and participate in hands-on activities. I presently work as a medical assistant and hold a BLS certification. I’m available most weekends (perfect for date or alone time), and sometimes throughout the week on days when I don’t have classes. Please dont be shy to reach out with any questions.
