Laurie P.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and received her BS in Psychology from Boston University. I then moved to New York City where I earned her Masters in Early Childhood General Education from Bank Street College of Education and her New York State Early Childhood Education Professional Certificate. While living in NY, I taught both 3 and 4 year olds and 4 and 5 year olds for 2 years at the Riverdale YM-YWHA and then 5 years at the JCC in Manhattan. After living in New York for 7 years, I moved to Tel Aviv and taught in a Pre-K classroom at the American International School in Israel. Once I returned to the states, I taught in a Pre-K classroom in Massachusetts and I am now currently teaching Pre-K in a private nursery school in Gramercy.

Children have always been a passion of mine. Growing up I spent many hours babysitting and working at camps during the summer. All these experiences have guided me to where I am today.
