Hello! My name is Kira, I’m a graduate student living in Manhattan, NY looking to add some additional babysitting hours to my schedule. I work part time at a respected daycare in Manhattan, and I need to supplement those hours. At the daycare, I work with children aged four months to five years. I also worked as a live in Au Pair to two children, aged 7 and 10, for fifteen months. This involved preparing breakfast, school snacks, and lunch when Covid protocols dictated that the kids at home for the day, picking up one of the children from school, assisting with homework, preparing dinner, and cleaning the kitchen. I also gave the kids dinner and put them to bed once a week. I feel very comfortable working with children of all ages, and have managed groups consisting of 3 infants, 4 toddlers, or 5 3-5 year olds at a time. I love being around children and am genuinely happier when working with kids is part of my schedule, so I hope to continue this by babysitting!
