Hi! My name is Karen. I am a 27 year old single mom to a 4 year old girl who is currently enrolled in kindergarten. Before becoming a mom, i absolutely adored children, and as a young girl id pretend to be a caregiver/mom to all my baby dolls, and i was often told one day I’d be a great mom. They were right ! Being a mom pretty much defines me. And although i wish i could spend all day with my girl, she has to go to school and get her education and socialize. Therefore, I am currently a stay at home mom, with no more baby. I have a Bachelors in Business Marketing from Penn State University. However, I was born and raised in NYC. I worked as a babysitter at the young age of seventeen for a few months, and I also baby sat for friends of the family, as well as before I became a mom to my nephew from the moment he was born up until I had my daughter, and moved to PA. During my free time I really enjoy working out, drawing (sketching), re-organizing spaces around my apartment, and re-decorating. I pretty much enjoy being active. I honestly believe that being a caregiver comes effortless and natural to me and I enjoy spending time with children, as I often find it as an escape from the stress adulthood tends to cause, and getting to dive into a child’s wild and creative imagination.
