When I was 9 years old I became an older brother. That sense of responsiblity and pride I felt for taking care of them has stuck with as I choose paths for my professional career. My entire family consist of educators from my mother to all off my aunts and uncles, so caregiving is something innate to me. In recent years I have worked in various caregiving institutions with kids from age 3-13 with class sizes ranging anywhere from 5-30. I have a dense training in the performing arts that helps me empathically and creatively connect with kids. I love using the Arts as a medium for connection with children, whether that be dancing, watching movies, or creating art. The way we care for children actively impacts the the future. I do not take this responsibility lightly and am committed to creating at safe, nourished, and enriched environment for kids to have fun and feel Comfortable in. I have certifications in CPR, Anti-bullying, and inclusion protocols, and prioritize the safety AND emotional stability of all kids I care for.
