Hi everybody! I’m Julia – an active, energetic, reliable, and fun 25-year old looking to pick up some weekend babysitting/nannying work! I grew up babysitting my neighbors, cousins, etc. and have continued to nanny/babysit throughout college and into adulthood. Last summer (2023), I was a camp director for five months while nannying part-time on the weekends. Now, in New York I babysit on an ad-hoc basis whenever a family friend or relative swings through town.

Now that I have a better gauge on my work schedule, I’m looking to get back into routine babysitting/nannying as I save for business school. Ideally I would love a long-term live-out weekend position but am interested in babysitting on weekends/evenings as well. I’m located in NYC (Manhattan) but am happy to commute a reasonable distance. During the week I work in finance (Structured Products for those who are interested) and cannot think of a better way to spend my excess time than doing something I enjoy a lot – spending time with and teaching children.

I am CPR and First-Aid certified, have experience with special-needs children, a clean driving record and valid drivers license and passport. I love to cook, draw, and spend time outdoors. My favorite place in New York City is the Stavros Nicharos Library terrace at sunset and my coolest fact is that I’ve held (not earned) an Olympic gold medal. Also, I have references for whoever needs them!
