Hi! My name is Jess, I am 21 years old and I am a current NYU student at the Rory Meyers College of Nursing! I graduated this past May from Arizona State University with a BS in Medical Studies and a minor in Spanish. I moved to Manhattan from Arizona in August, and have already fallen in love with the city! In my free time (when not studying!), I love spending time with my friends, trying new places to eat, or just relaxing at home with a TV show.
I have always been passionate about working with children. I have been babysitting & nannying since I was a freshman in high school. As soon as I turned 16 and was able to start working, I got a job at a daycare center/preschool working with children ranging from 6 months-5 years old! There, I was able to help kids learn, play, and ultimately have an overall fun experience while their parents were busy.
When COVID hit and the school shut down, I was able to accept a nannying job, where I aimed to provide the best at-home experience for the children and their parents during a difficult time.
Since then, I have focused on school and other career-related opportunities, but still love taking on babysitting opportunities whenever I get the chance to. Especially with my rigorous course load, I love the flexibility of babysitting as I am able to focus mostly on whats important to me while being able to help you and earn income on the side! I would love to help you out in any way I can, whether its work, date night, or you just need a day/night off!
