Nice to e-meet you.

I am a Broadway professional in the arts, and I have lived in New York for 11 years. I have 5 years of child-care experience, and I am also an Uncle!

I used to work for The Walt Disney Company, so I have lots of professional experience around children. I love spending time with kids, because I learn from them and they open my eyes to new experiences and new possibilities.

I love sharing my own experiences with children, including Museums, Central Park, Art Festivals, Flea Markets, Concerts, Movies, etc. I think it is wonderful to get outside and experience everything New York has to offer (that is kid friendly of course!). Who doesn’t want an Ice Cream Sundae from Serendipity? Who doesn’t want to drink lemonade on the swings in Riverside Park? I used to be a tour guide, so I have lots of fun and interesting facts about the city that I am happy to share on our walks home from school, or on our way to Karate!

As I am in the arts, I am also capable (and totally happy) to teach your children how to sing, dance, and act if they are interested! I have served on the Dance Faculty’s of several schools in New York, and have worked on several children’s productions. Art is a wonderful way to relax and tape into our creativity. I play a little bit of piano, so if you have one I could help them out with that too.

The most important thing to me is balancing productivity with fun, and happiness. Vegetables aren’t so bad to eat if you make it into a game. Wiping down the table isn’t so bad if it’s a race!

And is getting our homework done a problem if there’s a pack of M&M’s that magically appears after we complete every question?
