Im 25 and currently in my second year of a dual master’s degree in child development and social work (at Sarah Lawrence college and NYU). Working with kids is my passion! I hope to one day do child and family therapy and I plan to write my thesis about art therapy, so I value and seek out creative expression and endeavours. I’ve been babysitting every summer for the past 5 years, working with kids aged 0-10. For the past two summers, I’ve babysat twin toddlers full-time, and last year (during the school year), I happened to babysit another pair of twin toddlers! So I’m very comfortable with chaos, Im nurturing, calm and enthusiastic. I take a holistic approach to life and childcare. Self regulation is extremely important to me (I recommend the book self reg by Stuart Shanker), I value flexibility, mental/physical/social health and development, and forming genuine connections.

More fun facts!
Fitness is a big part of my life, I’ve been lifting for the past 9 years. I recently started rock climbing and love it! I also spend a lot of my free time drawing and journaling. I also love any and all other artsy crafts like air-dry clay, painting, making jewelry, lino blocking, etc. I also love photography! I have a professional camera that I love to take pictures with.
I’ve also been working in early childhood education settings for the past two years (for my masters degree), working in classrooms with children aged 2-5, and I love it! I also realized I have a passion for play therapy and had the pleasure of working with two play therapy clients (ages 4 and 5, both with ASD) this past year, it was extremely fulfilling.
