Hi!!! My name is Grace. I am a junior at NYU studying communications.

I began my work with childcare when I was a kid as the oldest of nine cousins. I have always loved children, babies especially, and gotten great happiness out of taking care of them. When I got my license and was able to get my first real job, child care was my first choice. I worked at a daycare in my hometown for two years, taking care of 10-20 children at a time ages 5 months – 5 years old. I was trained in emergency situations as well as how to nurture and make a child feel loved and comfortable.

For the past three years, I have served as a nanny to a family,for which I am happy to provide a referencewith 2 boys. I started working with them when they were 3 and 6 months. From preparing healthy snacks and changing diapers to playing at the park and building forts, I am energetic and passionate in every aspect of caring for children. Additionally, I have experience helping young children through separation anxiety situations, using distraction and refocusing techniques to help kids through those tough emotions.
