I’ve been babysitting since I was around 14 years old and I truly love it! I really enjoy working with kids and I love seeing their creativity and playfulness. I’ve looked after kids between the ages of 1-14, including up to 3 siblings.

I’m currently a student at Skidmore College studying theater and social work. My theater background has definitely benefitted me with my babysitting! Being able to work with kids’ creativity and roll with the punches are skills that making working with kids that much more manageable (and fun)! My social work curriculum has also taught me a lot of valuable skills about interpersonal communication, including how to work with children in a way that makes them feel seen and heard while still maintaining some order.

I also have a younger brother (5 year age difference), so I’ve had plenty of experience babysitting him over the years!
