I was born and raised here in New York City and have always considered myself a bit of a caretaker. Right now I work in marketing but find myself wanting to go into teaching.
My little brother is autistic, and from a young age I learned to care for him on my own. I grew up in a large apartment building and babysat a lot during high school, particularly kids with special needs.
I understand that being a parent is the hardest job (and most rewarding one, of course) in the world, and it’s important to feel at peace knowing that your kids are being looked after.
