My name is Claudia Cardona
I have been working as a babysitter for the same family in Manhattan for the last 3 years and a half. I graduated as an architectural and engineering draftswoman from the UCM, this activity allowed me to develop manual skills that I have always been able to apply in my job, because I consider that through crafts, children can learn to be more creative. My confort zone is to create spaces for children to learn routines of daily life through games and outdoor activities. In my current job I pick up my girl at school, help her with her homework, create and participate in the games, how to perform and schedule the play dates, accompany her to the extra curricular classes such as gymnastics, swimming, culinary, volleyball, soccer, tennis and basketball. I also make her dinner and do her laundry. On some occasions, because of her mother’s business trips, I have been entirely in charge of the house and the girl for at least one week, overnight and weekends too. The reason I will be available from January 2020 is because the girl that I take care of will be going to boarding high school next year.
My main interest is to ensure a clean, healthy, educational, funny and creative environment for the kids, so much that parents have the peace of mind and confidence of leaving in the hands of an experienced, responsible and loving babysitter.
I speak Spanish, I am authorized to work in the USA and I have a clean driver license.
