Hi! I’m Anna, an undergraduate college student majoring in Communication Studies at University of California, Los Angeles but I’ve recently moved to New York City for a temporary internship with Nylon Magazine. I’m working to become a professional journalist and my writing has been featured in Nylon Magazine, Teen Vogue, Billboard Magazine, and my own site Tough to Tame. I’m passionate about feminism and politics, but for fun, I love to try out new foods, dance, and dig my head in a new book.

I’ve been nannying since my sophomore year of high school almost four years ago. For the past 4 months, I’ve nannied for a six year-old girl and 9 year-old boy while studying abroad in London and before that, I nannied for a family in Los Angeles, taking care of three boys aged 7, 13, and 15. In both jobs, my responsibilities consisted of taking the kids to and from school and other activities, making them food at home, putting the youngest to bed, and taking general care of them in the house while the parents were away.
