Hi there!

My name is Allison! I recently graduated summa cum laude from Point Park University with my BFA in Acting, and I just moved to New York to pursue a career in acting, teaching, and writing.

I’ve been babysitting for over ten years, and it’s something I truly love and enjoy. I have significant experience babysitting for twins, children with developmental challenges, children with severe food allergies, children with separation anxiety, and children of LGBTQ+ families. I’ve also taught Sunday School, led a toddler playgroup, and been a camp counselor.

I’m also an experienced tutor in English, Spanish, history, civics, biology, anatomy/physiology, and algebra. I also received a 2020 on the SAT (94th percentile), and I can help your child prepare for the SAT, SAT subject tests, ACT, AP tests, and other standardized tests.

When I’m caring for a child, I have two primary goals. My foremost goal is to ensure that they are safe, healthy, and comfortable. And my second goal is to make sure that they have fun! Being an actor, I understand the importance of using one’s imagination, thinking outside the box, exploration, self expression, and allowing oneself to be silly. While caring for your child, I will facilitate their creative growth by making fun playlists, doing arts and crafts, playing make-believe, and introducing analytical conversations to promote creative critical thinking. And we’ll all have fun while doing it!
