Hello! My name is Isabelle Hammar I am 23 years old and have been working with youth and adolescents for about 8 years now!
I attended Southern Connecticut State University for Psychology with a focus in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, before attending Three Rivers Community College for Social work with a focus in child development and special education. I have a broad history with children working with all ages, as well as those with intellectual and physical disabilities. While attending SCSU I nannied for five children ranging ages from 3mo-6yo. In 2022-2023 I nannied for a 2mo old until he was 14mo when their family relocated I got another job at a day care working with 2-3 year old toddlers. I then found out i was pregnant and welcomed my first child into the world!
I am first aid, CPR and epi-pen certified in the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island. I am a very out-going, ambitious and wholesome person. Coming from Social Work and Psychology major, I am very invested in Mental Health and the well being of our youth seems to how they are our future!
Interacting with children is so hard these days due to the lack of expression and the frustrating indoor days we all deal with now. Most kids learn from words and visual learning. I love being outside in all times of the year, Im a huge beach go-er and love taking hikes. I am currently looking for a family that wouldnt mind me also having my son with me or even nannying at my home! I would love to hear from you and your family to see if I would be a good fit as a Nanny!
