Hello my name is Nadia! I am currently living in Chinatown as I study photography at Parsons School of Design. My current work converges my interests in self-portraiture, documentary photography, and re-contextualizing my family archives. Caring for children has been my longest standing job. Starting in eighth grade, I was trusted by my neighbor with picking her son up from the bus and watching him after school. Since then I have cared for the children of numerous families through more babysitting services, professional dance teaching, nannying, and mothers assistant positions. I have found these job experiences to be my most fruitful, learning from them the importance of having just as much patience in teaching young children as in learning from them. I am vaccinated, boosted, and more than excited to meet and be of great help to your family!
