I became a career nanny when I realized being an elementary school teacher was not for me. I love the one on one relationships I have with the children I take care of and their families. I love becoming a part of a family, so it doesnt feel like a job, instead feels like a privilege. Ive always loved babies, since practically being one myself, so I started babysitting as soon I legally could, at 12 years old. I attended college, trade school, early childhood development classes and many other childcare courses. Ive done it all in the childcare world. Ive taught at an early childhood development center. Ive worked in a daycare center, volunteered as a camp counselor, been a life guard, where I also taught swim lessons, Im worked in and helped run my church nursery, and Ive been a professional nanny for the past 14 years. My job is my passion, I love it, just as I love all the children I care for. Im a loving and nurturing person, which is why this job suites me so well. I currently work for two families, one I have been with for 4 years (the little girls whole life since 2 months old), and the other family whom Ive been with for 2 years, (also the little boys whole life). The little girl is aging out of my care to go to school full time starting in Aug, so Im now available Tuesday and Thursdays all day, and Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 11:30am. Both families are on my list of references, and they will tell you I am very reliable. I never show up late or call in. I know if I dont show up, it means one of the parents cant show up for their job, and I take that very seriously. Some of my favorite things to do with my kiddoss include, baking, gardening, reading, crafts, going to parks and museums, and the beach of course! Id love to learn more about your family and tell you more about myself so we could decide if we would be a good fit for one another.
