Hello, my name is Jesse, and I’m a psychology major at Tulane University who is pursuing a pre-medical degree. I frequently tutored, watched kids who were younger than me, or worked as a camp counselor, and I’ve always had strong sentiments about working with children. I worked as a counselor for two years and was a sleepaway camper for eight years. Even as campers, we were given more authority to lead and inspire the younger campers every year. Over the past school year I have worked with underprivileged middle school students in New Orleans, Louisiana and helped them in various subjects, specifically mathematics. I prioritize boosting teen and child welfare and psychology in my undergraduate education. My hours are quite flexible, and if necessary, I’m willing to work on the weekends or throughout the week.
