Hello! I am Sarah Cohon, a rising sophomore at Bard College. I will be home, on Long Island, for the entire summer. My availability is extremely flexible. I love working with kids, and I have lots of experience. I worked at Pierce Country Day Camp during the summer of 2023. I had a blast preparing/feeding the kids lunch, participating in activities, helping them get ready/unready, helping with bathroom breaks, and caring for them with anything else they may have needed (ages 1.54). I took a childhood development course in high school for 2 years, where I sat in on one class every other day for the whole school year. I helped with homework, emotional distress, and supervision (ages 810). I volunteered with differently abled children/teens for a softball program called Challengers where I taught them social/mobile skills and built relationships. I have 6 siblings, 2 of whom are younger, so I know how to handle a lot on my plate. I drive, have access to a car, love to do fun activities, and am very responsible. Also, I have 8 dogs(some with special needs) and 1 cat. I took care of lots of different farm animals on a Putney Student Travel- Farm to Table program…So pets are more than welcome and I am able to care for them properly as well! I’d love to babysit, so please reach out!
