Write a messageI started working with kids in 2019 at a sleep away camp as a counselor. I continued to work summers there up until 2023 in various positions such as a lifeguard, assistant village leader, and finally a village leader. I have also worked there in the spring and fall season as an outdoor educator. Currently, Im working as an after school counselor in Park Slope while taking classes at CUNY for my BA in Youth Studies. I hold Red Cross first aid/CPR/AED, lifeguarding, and advanced childcare certifications as well as the Be There Certificate from the Trevor Foundation. Im very passionate about what I do and love working with kids. Im a musican, athlete, martial artist, amateur cook, and so much more. I hope to return to outdoor education for a time in the future and ultimately work in youth advocacy. I also have a valid drivers lsiense and a vehicle to use.
