Even when you make every effort to leave your personal life at home when you enter that door, children nonetheless seem to be able to tell when you’re feeling a little lost, underappreciated, or just generally depressed. Even the coldest hearts can become warm when they witness children’s unconditional affection. When a youngster presents you with a priceless piece of art, a warm embrace, or tender words, your entire world changes.
