My name is leanne ,I currently live in east meadow and have been working with children for 9 years.I have gained my experience working at a summer camp and daycare. And i am currently babysitting for a wonderful family. For the last year, I have been picking their child up in the morning/afternoon from daycare and some nights and weekends. Because I have worked with children for 9 years ,I have learned how to help children learn through positive play and know how to handle them when they having a bad day.I have learned children need to feel safe and heard in order to thrive and become better people as they grow.I have worked with newborns to second graders and know how to be silly and keep them safe at the same time.Each age group has different characteristics that are needed to keep them interested in joining in on a games or simply sitting down to eat or getting their homework done.I know how to be patient and understanding but stern enough to keep them safe and happy.I am a reliable responsible person that cannot wait to be part of your child’s life. I currently have a full-time job but am off on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. I have my own car so getting to and from will not be a problem and I am very responsible.
