Hello fellow parents my name is KimChi and am a wife to a loving husband and a mother of two for the past 35+ years. I cared for my two boys through kindergarten, grade school, high school, and even college at Notre Dame and West Virginia University and have two grandchildren, which is the reason for my recent move to Texas. I love kids and have also taken care of my sisters daughter and son since they were 6 months until they turned 7 and 8. I miss the days when I felt needed and was paid with a joyous smile and laugh so from that point on I started to become a nanny for other families for a total of 10 years. My boys are now over 35 and they are on their own and I find myself missing the hustle and bustle of taking care of kids believe it or not. I love cooking, baking, gardening, and exercising although my exercising is limited to long walks and well more walking. I am also bilingual in English and Vietnamese and have had past experience as a nanny in the Southern California area. My last 3 families can be used as references. The third family I cared for a little over year and a half had two boys, one was 10 and the elder was 13 who which I adored. I used to work full time for the family picking them up from school and caring for them after, making after school snacks, taking them to karate lessons and other after school activities, then preparing dinner for the two til their parents came home from work (who are doctors and tend to work late) while cleaning and doing laundry in between. The second to last family was caring for before moving to Texas was a one year old boy. We enjoyed many art projects and games as well as the park down the street. When I moved to Texas I was bless to find the current family I am working for however they are moving out of state now as their practices have led them there (lawyer/oral surgeon). I have a very special bond with this boy as I cared for him since 1 month old back in early 2019 and watched many firsts and witness him grow into a confident, well mannered gentleman. We did lots of activities together and games, we had a good routine going and enjoyed each others company. I will be working with the family until the end of August and can start 9/1/2024.
