My name is Jacqueline and I absolutely love caring for children. I was born and raised in a small town here in North Texas. I am an adventurous and fun loving person that loves to travel and explore new things. Growing up I would spend my summers working as a baby sitter for my aunts and uncles.

After high school I attended the University of North Texas where I majored in political science with plans of becoming a paralegal. During my junior year at UNT I volunteered at a daycare on campus and loved every bit of it. It was then that I realized how passionate I was about working with and teaching children and made the decision to take the necessary steps to become a teacher. I graduated in May and began my Master’s program in August of that same year. Two years later I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with my Master of Arts in Teaching and also received my Texas teaching certificate. I also have an MBA from Louisiana State University that I completed in 2021.

I have spent the past 10 years in education. I worked as an elementary school teacher for 7 years and then spent 3 years as an instructional coach to teachers. As a teacher, I taught both kindergarten and first grade at a very high performing DFW area elementary school. Then as an instructional coach I worked and coached kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade teachers. I believe that my time as a classroom teacher has prepared me very well for being a nanny. As a teacher I had to be creative, organized, patient, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi task. All skills and assets that would benefit me as a nanny as well.
