Why do you love being a sitter?
I love being a sitter because it allows me to build meaningful relationships with children and contribute to their growth in fun, supportive ways. I find joy in helping kids learn, explore, and feel confidentwhether thats through engaging play, teaching new skills, or simply being a consistent, caring presence. These experiences have deepened my passion for pediatric care and helped shape my goal of working in the healthcare field.

What experience do you have?
Ive worked with children in multiple settings. For four years, Ive cared for two boys (ages 6 and 10), planning activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring a safe environment. I also worked as a Swim Instructor at Goldfish Swim School, where I taught swim lessons to children and children with special needs ages 4 months to 12 years using a safety-focused curriculum. Currently, I serve as an Instructional Aid through Western Nursing Services, providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs in the classroom. These roles have given me a wide range of hands-on experience with children of all ages and needs.

What skills and training do you have?
Through my work and academic background as a Health Sciences student on the pre-med track, Ive developed strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Im trained in classroom and instructional support, familiar with structured curriculum environments, and deeply committed to professionalism, safety, and dependability. Ive learned how to adapt to different children’s personalities, foster positive behavior, and create environments where children feel safe and supported.
