My name is Maleah Twyner and I go to the University of Cincinnati. I am a second year business major in Marketing with a minor in sports administration. I’m excited to introduce myself as someone who is passionate about working with children and creating fun, enriching experiences for them.
I’ve been babysitting for as long as I can remember, and I also have over four years of experience working at a gymnastics gym that doubles as a summer camp for kids aged 3-12 which means I have many certifications and training in children’s safety. My job has given me the opportunity to develop hands-on experience engaging with children of all ages, and
helping them grow both physically and emotionally.
What I think sets me apart from others is my ability to balance fun with responsibility. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning creative activities, or simply being a reliable presence, I always strive to create an environment where kids feel supported and safe. My time at the gymnastics gym taught me how to foster confidence and resilience in children, all while keeping things active and entertaining. Although my major is business, my job made me fall in love with kids and their funny, loving, spontaneous attitude.
