Hi! I’m a college student who grew up in Seattle, and I go by WD (not Madeline). I’m passionate about respectful childcare, including Montessori and RIE methods; I have 6 months’ experience teaching in a Montessori classroom for toddlers as well as several years of experience as a babysitter/nanny, tutor, and classroom assistant for children’s dance classes. I’m friendly, hands-on, patient, calm, creative, and invested in listening and meeting children’s needs. As a dancer and an artist, I love to play with music, movement, and crafts with the kids I work with! I also love spending time outdoors and learning about the plant and animal life around me. Setting clear boundaries and expectations is as important to me as making space for children to explore, learn, and grow. I take COVID safety seriously, and am looking for a family that does too.
