Im a 23 year old living in Logan square, seeking part time child care work. My experience dates back over a decade, which is when I began assisting local families with occasional babysitting jobs. In the last five years, Ive nannied for three families. The first being a local family with two children, I worked with a 10 year old girl and a 5 year old boy, which lasted the entirety of my senior year of high school; the second being a family in Brooklyn, New York, I worked with 7 year old twin boys, which lasted for five months before my undergraduate schooling commenced; and finally a family in Paris, I worked with a 9 year old girl and a 7 year old boy, during my two month stay last autumn.

Nannying and child care is an important job, and I take great care in my journey to learn and understand the needs of each individual child. My style includes ample activity and projects to keep their minds and bodies busy, while balancing time for scheduled homework help, musical practice, athletic commitments or anything else they are accustomed to. Going for outdoor adventures, exploring child friendly recipes, attempting new art projects, stretching their imaginations by writing stories, building new contraptions with Legos or blocks these are some of the ways Ive kept little ones interested and excited during my time with them.

Some information about me.
I majored in economics during undergrad, but Ive recently begun the process of applications for a Masters program in art history, with aspirations to conduct research and curate exhibitions in the future. Ive lived in New York City for the majority of the last three years, throughout which I was a nanny or waitress when I wasnt in class. My passions include playing the guitar, ceramic art, knitting and textile art, music and art history, I enjoy expanding my cooking knowledge, I love to read, I love to explore new places by foot or by bike.
