Hello! My name is Elyse! I am new to the Chicago area and looking to help out local families with child care needs. I have a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies for K-12 education and a minor in human development. I am very passionate about working with kids and I love to see them thrive and succeed. I originally got my degree with the intention to teach but after I nannied for a couple of years I realized how beneficial it was to work in small group/individual settings. Even when I was a child myself I loved working with other kids. I started volunteering at my church daycare at 12 years old and would help with the 3/4 year olds. I have tons of babysitting experience with kids primarily ages 6mos-5years old. I have also nannied for a family with 6 kids. I primarily watched their 2,5, and 7 year old but would assist their 13,15, and 17 year old with homework and carpooling. I really enjoy finding fun and creative ways to spend my time with kids. Playing outside or coming up with make believe games or crafts is always a blast.

Rate: $22/hour – $25/hour
