I do not have any professional experience with children, but for these past two summers I have worked in a program through Humboldt Park as a summer camp mentor. Through this, I became a mandated reporter and I have a digital certificate from this past summer. The children I have worked with these past two years have been between the ages of 8 and 15 years old. Through personal experience, I have two nephews and one niece (one is 7, 3 and the other is 2 years old.) I’ve basically grown up around them especially the oldest, so I do have some experience with younger!
