Hello! I’m Alyssa Davis, a passionate photographer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and technical skill. Currently, I channel my love for storytelling into my role as a childrens photographer, capturing the vibrant essence of families, high school seniors, and kids through my freelance business, which I launched in 2009. Prior to this, I honed my craft at Portrait Innovations, where I specialized in making every session a fun and memorable experience.

In addition to my photography, I work as an auditor for NowPow, a forward-thinking health tech start-up, and I also share my enthusiasm for literature as an adjunct English professor at Wright College. My teaching journey allows me to inspire students in remedial and introductory English, while my tutoring experience spans over a decade, focusing on grades 6-12 in reading, writing, and college preparation.

Being the oldest of six, Ive always embraced responsibility, nurturing my younger siblings and bringing joy to their lives. From my time as a nanny, where I juggled the care of up to six children at once, to creating engaging summer educational programs, working with kids feels like second nature to me. I find immense joy in stimulating their minds and inspiring creativity, whether through fun activities or thoughtful conversations.
