I am a student attending Harvard and Berklee College of Music concurrently through a selective dual degree program, with my Bachelors in History & Literature at the former and Masters in Music at the latter. I was set to start my junior year this fall, but in light of news that my courses would be completely online and that I would not be allowed to return to campus for the whole year, I have elected to take a leave of absence. During this time I am seeking a consistent babysitting and/or tutoring opportunity with a family that needs assistance. I am a CPR certified sitter with 8 years of experience caring for kids of all ages, and for the previous two summers worked at my local children’s museum that emphasized purposeful play and sensory learning. I enjoy coming up with creative, thoughtful ways for kids to learn, engage, and grow with the world around them. My strong areas for academic assistance are reading, writing, social studies, and foreign languages (I am fluent in French and a beginner Spanish learner), but I am equipped to tutor in all subjects. I am a singer and songwriter, and could incorporate music lessons on theory, voice, piano, ukulele, and more if desired into time spent with the kids. I love cooking and baking, and enjoy exercising (especially outside!). I am hoping to relocate to New York City in September, but could make the move in August if needed.
