Hi! My name is Christine Johnson and I have 10 years of babysitter/nanny experience assisting my sister with her son, Titan (6), my mother with my younger sibling, Malcolm (now 21), and my former partner with their beautiful babies Jacari (2) and Kamari (4)! Household duties such as tidying, cleaning, refrigerator restocking, grocery shopping, and laundry are all things that I am experienced with.
Children are extremely precious and I understand the attentiveness, care, and patience they require. My go-to sitter activities are a mix of play and education! Reading, counting, drawing, scavenger hunt, baking, and park picnics are just a few. I generally create a schedule to plan the day out which ensures structure and productivity.
A little about myself: I am an energetic, mindful, empathetic, patient, and hardworking person with integrity and a love for pouring into others. I am originally from Washington, DC and recently relocated to New York City. I follow a 5am routine that helps me lead a productive/grounded day which includes prayer (I am Christian), 10 minute meditation, 20 minute fitness, and reading/journaling. Some of my hobbies are sewing, drawing, web design, reading, swimming, and laughing lol.
I am currently a part-time work from home ESL teacher and my current role is extremely flexible allowing me to set my own schedule and rates. Prior to this I was a Supervisor at Justice Tweens Brand. I do have a car and am mobile if driving is ever necessary and I am CPR certified. I am 100% open to a background check and have references available upon request.
