I absolutely love being a sitter because it allows me to make a real difference in a childs life. Growing up in a close-knit community, I had the privilege of being a role model to many children, and that experience has shaped how I approach sitting today. Theres something so special about building trust with kids and their families, and knowing that I can create a positive, safe environment for them to learn, grow, and have fun.

Ive had the chance to pick kids up from school, help them with their homework, and engage in activities that nurture both their minds and spirits. Its incredibly rewarding to see them thrive and know Im playing a small part in their journey.

As a statistics graduate student, Ive learned how to think critically and pay attention to the details, whether thats creating routines, managing schedules, or addressing any issues that arise. But beyond the data, I truly care about the well-being of the children I sit for. I focus on their individual needs and always try to make them feel seen, heard, and valued.

Being a sitter isn’t just about the tasksits about building a meaningful connection and offering a sense of security, and thats what drives me every day.
