I first realized my love and nurturing spirit for babies when I was hardly one myself. At three I began showing an active interest in the babies around church, even going so far as to asking to hold newborns while sitting in the pews. Over time this love for children grew and I cultivated it. I began assisting in Church Nursery programs at 9, learning the practicals of baby-care (ie diapers and bottles). By 12, I had advanced up to being an aide in curriculum based Sunday School programs. It didn’t take much longer for me to start teaching them on my own. In addition, I started babysitting in high school and helping run a Middle School aged Bible Study for girls between 11 and 13. Upon Graduation I attended the University of Northern Colorado and studied English with Emphasis in Secondary Education; the dream was to teach middle school. However, upon moving to NYC – and beginning my tenure as a Nanny – I realized my heart was really in the home. Although I enjoyed classroom settings, I absolutely love developing a deeper relationship with a smaller number of children and their families too. Through my work first as a Live-In Nanny and later with the additional families I’ve worked with and for (Full Time and Part Time), I have found that love only increasing.

I currently have 5 years NYC professional Nanny experience. I am a proficient swimmer, clean driver, and reliable caregiver. I have been CPR and First Aid Certified. Although my NYC experience has been primarily with toddlers and babies, I am comfortable with all aged children and with multiples. I believe I am excellent Nanny because I am committed one hundred percent to the children in my charge. I am fun and playful, yet communicative and responsible. I am seeking employment with a family that seeks someone to join their caregiving team in order to foster vibrant, healthy growth in their children.
