Hello! My name is Kynnedi Giles-Watkins and I am a full time student at Howard University. I have been working in childcare for about 4 years with my experience ranging from educational assistance, sports coaching, and babysitting as well. Recently, this past summer I had the privilege of working with the YMCA Youth Summer Camp where I was in charge of planning activities, serving dry food, and educational enrichment of the kids to keep them engaged in schoolwork over the summer. I am certified in first aid and basic life support (BLS) by the American Safety and Health Institute which ensures that I am fully trained in CPR as well as further cardiovascular and respiratory care. My main priority when taking care of kids is making sure they are safe and having fun! I enjoy arts and crafts which is something I have found that kids enjoy and simply spending time with them and doing activities that make both of us happy. Being used to the fast paced environment of summer camps I am experienced in thinking on my feet in problem solving or planning activities at the last minute.
