Greetings! My name is Hodavia Kalombo, but you can call me Davi. I am thrilled to offer my babysitting services with a heart full of joy and extensive years of experience. Having immersed myself in childcare from a young age, I bring a unique blend of passion, patience, and expertise to every interaction with children.

My journey in childcare began at the tender age of 16 when I started volunteering in my church’s childcare program. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working closely with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities. My experience includes two years of dedicated service working with children with cognitive disabilities, where I learned invaluable lessons in patience, compassion, and the importance of fostering independence.

Currently, I am actively engaged in my church’s children’s ministry, where I continue to share my love for nurturing and guiding young minds. Through my work with children with disabilities, I have honed the skill of empowering children to be independent and confident individuals, capable of navigating the world around them with grace and resilience.

One might say that toddlers are a handful, but to me, they are an endless source of delight and wonder. My extensive experience with toddlers has taught me the art of patience and the ability to see the world through their curious eyes. I believe in creating a safe and stimulating environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.

In addition to English and French fluency, I am also dedicated to expanding my language skills and am currently learning Spanish. I believe that language is a bridge that connects us to diverse cultures and experiences, enriching our lives and expanding our horizons.
