I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being part of their growth and development. Every child is different, and I find it rewarding to connect with them, support their needs, and create a fun and safe environment. Whether its helping with homework, playing imaginative games, or guiding them through daily routines, I find joy in making a positive impact on their day.
I have 2-3 years of experience caring for children of various ages, from infants to pre-teens. Ive worked with families on a regular basis as well as in occasional, one-time settings. My responsibilities have included meal prep, bedtime routines, helping with schoolwork, and organizing age-appropriate activities. I also have experience with light housekeeping and working with children who have specific routines.
Im CPR and First Aid certified, have been a lifeguard and swim instructor for 5 years, and am a rising senior in college. Im patient, reliable, and great at multitasking. I also have strong communication skills, which help me keep both kids and parents informed and comfortable. My background in lifeguarding, swim instructing and camp counseling has helped me develop a calm, proactive approach in both everyday and unexpected situations.
