Hi! My name is Sarah, I am 26 years old, and I’m looking for babysitting and petsitting opportunities. I started babysitting when I was 13 and have been working with kids ever since. I majored in Human Development and Psychological Services at Northwestern University, largely due to my interests in child development and youth intervention programs, and I graduated with extensive knowledge on how to support youth development and an enhanced understanding of how to provide youth with excellent care. Aside from babysitting, I have worked as a camp counselor/instructor, a site director of an arts education program at an elementary school, and a theatre teaching artist.

When supervising children, I prioritize safety and well-being while also allowing space for play and silliness! Throughout my years of experience working with youth, I have developed a large arsenal of games and activities that I happily access when needed. I am also highly empathetic and have excellent communication skills with both youth and adults. It is important to me to provide youth with the support they need to tackle challenges, and I love having the opportunity to observe their growth and achievements. Moreover, I have extensive pet care experience and would be more than happy to care for your pet(s) as well!
