Hello! I’m a recent college graduate in English looking save money for a master’s in teaching. I have over three years of experience as a babysitter for toddlers and young children (largely family-oriented), and my summer job with the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth involved extensive supervision of teens and preteens. Right now I work full-time at the State University of New York, but am looking to work weeknights/weekends (my twice-weekly WFH days also allow for some flexibility during the week). I’m CPR and first-aid certified, experienced in tutoring/homework help, have a car, and up for any other tasks that you may need help with related to childcare/household maintenance. As a prospective teacher, I love working with kids and am patient in getting to know their needs and interests, and seek out activities that involve learning and exploration.
