Mission
We will inspire, stimulate and encourage our children to become lifelong learners, and provide every child with a quality early childhood experience and offers a project based approach to learning.
We strive to create a safe, warm, tender, nurturing, and multicultural environment. Our staff views education as a partnership between parents and teachers. We believe it is essential to develop a good rapport with each child and parent base on an open communication and mutual respect. We believe this foundation is vital for your child to become a lifelong learner. We believe in empowering children by offering them opportunities to make decisions and solve problems. It is our goal that children will possess confidence in their abilities and establish lasting relationships with their teachers and their peers. The Creative Curriculum surrounds these areas of development- cognitive, social, language, fine and gross motor skills. It was developed on the framework and research of by Piaget, Maslow, Erikson, Smilansky, Vygotsky, and Gardner, prominent psychologists. Creative Curriculum incorporates the following components in its curriculum and each is important for the development of each child’s success. All students acquire a lifelong learning during their time spent at Alpha Preparatory Academy.
