The ELC uses The Creative Curriculum by Dodge, Colker and Heroman: a proven curriculum based on both research and theory. Each day is a balance between free-choice activities in our centers and teacher-directed activities. This allows for both small- and whole-group experience.
Play is used to teach children to nurture their curiosity, explore their environment, and experiment with problem solving. Independence and self-help skills are encouraged in an atmosphere where each child is respected as an individual. All of this produces a life-long love of learning.
