Welcome! It is always a great day here at Childcare Network! I-m Dana Jones-Irby, the preschool director at our East I-240 location here in Oklahoma City.

Our school strives to create a warm and loving environment for the children, parents and teachers. Our child care facility is a NECPA accredited school and has received the highest 3-Star rating in Oklahoma. We provide a quality learning environment for children from infants through school-age. This includes a structured curriculum and daily activities. We also focus on health and fitness at this school. We teach the children about healthy nutrition and exercise facts with our fun puppet friends, “The Food Groupies”. They help explain the five basic food groups as the children are being served USDA approved breakfast, lunch and snack each day. Our Kindergarten readiness program is referred to as out Kindergarten Prep Academy. Learning happens year-round in this program to prepare your child to enter Kindergarten in the fall. Childcare Network has even introduced a Summer Readiness program as part of our KPA. This allows our students to continue developing the skills necessary for success in Kindergarten, while they are enjoying summer fun. Ongoing assessments and observations of all students are provided throughout the year. Parent conferences are scheduled in both the Fall and Spring so that families can be very involved in the development of the children. Our Pre-Kindergarten teachers work hard to provide great learning experiences through structured activities for our four and five year olds. The children expand their thoughts and imaginations, while preparing academically, emotionally and socially for their new environment. Getting our students ready for kindergarten each year is fun! Every summer we operate our Adventure Summer Camp for children ages 5-12. This summer camp is filled with exciting field trips, cooking projects, science experiments and so much more. It is important to make sure that students balance their summer play with educational experiences so that they remain ready for school when the summer ends. Our Summer Reading Program encourages students to read from a book of their choice every day. By doing so, they earn credits toward a prize at the end of the week. During the school year, these children participate in our before and after school program called the Young Achiever’s Club. They are given the opportunity to participate in clubs that that interest them like the Cooking Club, Science Club, Drama Club and Crafting Club. Our school is much more than a daycare. We work with every family individually to meet their needs, making us unlike any other child care provider in Oklahoma City. Give me a call or come by for a tour!
