You don’t have to trek across the world to give your kids a cultural experience; they can experience it right in the classroom. At Little People Preschool, kids learn everything from language to math, art, and music in both English and Russian. Little People preschool has the distinction of being the only center in San Francisco that offers a Russian immersion program for kids ages 2 to 6, and they’re good at it too! After graduating from Little People Preschool, your kiddo is more than prepared to enter into any public or private school in San Francisco.
Little People preschool isn’t your run-of-the-mill day care that’s akin to a pre-K free for all, their programs are education and learning based, with opportunities for kids to play and make new friends with their peers every day.
In addition to keeping your little ones’ minds active, they keep them fueled throughout the day. Their extremely healthy menu includes breakfast, snack, lunch, and even supper. You’ll love that you get to save a paper bag, and your kids will love the tasty meals that give them the energy to learn all day long.
Give your kids a cultural classroom experience at Little People Preschool.

Awesome caring group of women who takes good care of my daughters every day!
The most loving preschool in San Francisco. My children loved it here and they learned a lot. They had homemade and healthy meals and snack. We always felt like we were part of a family.
Just LOVE them!
Lil People preschool is a great stepping point for kids, the teachers are great and Galina is running a efficent, caring & a great learning environment. My 3 year old is enjoying his time there, i have seen him grow and learn so many new things that in such a short time that even i get surprised sometimes. Best of all the school's program is interactive and helps build confidence in kids preparing them for the future. I have seen my shy kid go from not saying a word outside the house to being super social now. I am very happy that we enroled him there. Another bonus , he is also learning Russian as he goes along.
I cannot say enough great things about this preschool. My daughter has been there for a little over a year, and she is flourishing. She is doing kindergarten level work at 3 years old, she has developed relationships with other children, and she is even learning a second language (we are English speakers). She is not only able to expand her mind, learning letters, colors and how to get along with others, but she also has a sense of community, eats nutritious meals, and always seems to be having fun when I pick her up. The other thing I love is the type of schooling and care she receives. Boundaries and rules are clearly defined, respect for each other includes please and thank you, and they always get plenty of love and encouragement. She arrives each day to a smile and a hug from the greeter, and leaves by saying goodbye to all her friends. I got really lucky I found this school--my friends have had kids going to a couple other schools in the area, and they weren't nearly as happy, and their child didn't have the important balance between structure and play--something a child thrives off of.
I would definately Reccomend this school. My son has learned a lot in this school not only do they accept kids starting from 2 years old, they also prep them for pre k n kindergarten which they offer that at this preschool. A month into this school our son had learned so much. They work with my son one on one and let us know what he needs work on! We couldn't be happier to put our son in this school and can't wait for our daughter to join next year.
My daughter went to Little People for about 3 years and I think this preschool is exceptional. The teachers are qualified and nurturing. The homemade soups cooked from scratch and other meals are great. The program is solid and not only prepares well for kindergarten in terms of learning to read write and count, but also develops good habits like doing homework, builds good social manners, promotes intercultural respect. For families wanting to have their child learn Russian language, the fact that the school team is bi-lingual is a huge bonus, add-on sports activities during school hours are also great for busy parents. When your child is young, help with potty training and socialization in the new environment provided by the school is also very valuable. I would happily recommend this school to any family.
