Hello – I am currently a nanny for a 5 year old boy since January, 2012. My responsibilities consist of picking him up from pre-school at 11:30, until the parent comes home at 7:15. I prepare a little snack, lunch, dinner, and a bath. After lunch, I review the alphabet, read, basic spelling, puzzles, counting, coordinate playdates, light housekeeping functions, i.e. cleaning the table, dishes, tidying up the child’s toys and room. The child’s maternal grandmother has retired and is watching him for 3 days, hence my days and hours have been reduced. Before January, 2012, I worked at a home daycare/after school daycare from Sept. 2009 to Dec. 2011 where the children ranged in ages from 8 weeks to 6 years of age where pre-school work was taught. i.e. pre-school workbooks were bought and taught, colors, alphabet, pre-school puzzles, reading, etc. The mom will give me an excellent reference as well. The mom in charge also had school aged children who I picked up from school as well as other children in the after school program. Part of my responsibilities was to bring kids to their after school activities and pick them up as well. The mom in charge will give me an excellent reference.

I was a nanny from Dec. 2006 to Aug. 2009 to a 1 year old baby where the days were filled with walks to the park, reading, singing, hugs, laughter and lots of love and attention. I also potty trained her as well. The mom lost her job in Aug. 2009 and the mom put the child in pre-school and my services were limited. The mom will give me an excellent reference.

I am caring, responsible, reliable, flexible with hours, honest, trustworthy, safe-driving, non-smoking female looking for another loving family where I can teach and care for their children and become a part of their growing, loving family. Between my experience and background, I will make an excellent addition to any family in a child caring role.
